OUR STORY

Ice & Dough was born from owner Leopold “Leo” Martini’s love for three things: authentic Albanian byrek, fresh, flavorful gelato, and delicious Italian coffee. After years of dreaming about opening a place of his own, Leo decided it was time to bring something special to Weymouth—food made with intention, family tradition, and the highest-quality ingredients he could find.

For Leo, baking is more than a skill—it’s a connection to his Albanian roots. Some of his earliest memories revolve around kitchens filled with warm dough, rotating byrek fillings, and family gathering around the table. Now, he’s continuing that legacy with his own young son, who proudly serves as “the best helper in the kitchen.”
 

Leo is committed to only the best, highest quality ingredients. Pies are always baked fresh daily, with hand-stretch dough, and never frozen. Ice & Dough is excited to serve you amazing flavors and treats, made with love from our family to yours.

Ingredients Come First

We partner with Hingham Farm for fresh, locally sourced milk and use all organic ingredients in our gelato. When the base is honest, the flavor speaks for itself.
